Project Details

A large open common area, vaulted great room, and two large folding door units connecting the open plan with the large screened porch, this 4,600 sq ft custom home was designed to achieve the light modern feel of the client’s home back in Seattle, while the exterior architecture fits well within the neighborhood’s primary aesthetic.

The first floor contains a full guest en suite w/ a generous walk in closet and stacking laundry. Floating stairs lead from a sunken foyer up to the 2nd floor, with the primary suite, two secondary bedroom, laundry, and flex space. An optional fifth bedroom was designed as unfinished storage. The two floors are vertically connected via the open vault in the great room, allowing the homeowner to keep an eye and ear on the kids upstairs.
